Constituted on a national basis, the Board of Trustees holds primary responsibility for the growth and sustenance of IFA. The Trustees are closely involved in determining management policies and programme goals, and bring considerable experience in industry, finance, public affairs, law, communications, the arts and the humanities.
In order to streamline the functioning of the Board, and fully utilise the talent and expertise of the Trustees, two committees have been established with clearly defined responsibilities. The Programme Committee reviews the content and priorities of the grant programmes and the Finance Committee supervises investments, approves budgets and monitors expenditure. We also draw upon the expertise of Advisors who help us in specific areas.
The Patrons of IFA are eminent artists who support our mandate.
Many of our ex-Trustees remain dear friends and well-wishers of the Foundation and enable us to connect to the wider world of the arts and those who support it.
